After the work at the charity shop Mr D and I went to the farmer’s market to load up on veg and goodies for the rest of the week.

At the market, this stall had an explosion of colour.

What I wore

Bow Headband– H&M

Yellow pencil shaped scarf – H&M (you can’t see it all that well but I found it here)
Duffle Jacket – Animal (from TK Maxx)
Badge – got it in an art exhibition in Bristol last year. I forget the name of the artist though.

Dress– Zara

Cardigan – Primark (unseen)

Red Tshirt with white buttons – H&M (unseen)

Polkadot tights – H&M (I think)

Dimple toed flats – Irregular Choice – the camera batteries died after this photo so I couldn’t take a detail shot but you can see them up close here. I got them in NYC the first time I went there in 2004. Good memories!

Got these chocolate apples from the farmer’s market. Yum yum. I should also add that the pepto bismol nails are new- This girl I work with has recently qualified as a nail beautician and is now doing gel nails to practice. I thought I’d have a go and even though it’s not as perfect as if I’d got them from a salon, I still like that they’ll last for a couple of weeks without chipping. Result! So if anyone ever wondered about gel  nails, you should have a go. They look natural and it doesn’t mean you have to get extensions (I know I wouldn’t).

One of the perks of working in a charity shop is to come across the good things while there- I can’t resist a bargain, even though I shouldn’t be buying stuff- I got this brand new and unworn pair of Bronx. Result number 2! I guess I’ll have to wait until next Spring to wear them though, it’s quite chilly here already.
