A few weeks ago I was watching True Blood and really liked this denim jacket Pam, the mean vampire was wearing. I’m not usually a fan of denim but I liked this particular jacket a lot:
So I started investigating and found out that it’s the Blessed & Cursed Couture Jacket. I also found some more detailed photos of Rihanna wearing it, and it gave me a good idea of the details. Given all this, I figured the price tag would be higher than I’d ever be willing to pay for it and thought I could do it myself.
So I went on Ebay, found a second hand distressed denim jacket from Next and ordered studs and spikes in several sizes, as well as crystal beads. It took a month for all of them to arrive from Asia but it was worth the wait. With all the materials scattered around I sat down and after two films (The Guard and 200 Cigarettes), it was ready:
I still have some leftover studs that I’ll probably use in something like this:
(I can’t remember where I found this photo)
Now all I have to do is wait for the weather to warm up a little bit so I can wear it!

Hey! Thank you for getting in touch!
I can’t really send you the exact link to the supplier because it was over a year ago and I don’t have it anymore but it was similar to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/new-100Pcs-Clear-Swarovski-Crystal-Gem-Beads-4-12mm-/260916579938?pt=UK_Crafts_Beads_CA&var=560070228881&hash=item3cbfd70e62
They may look flat in the photo but trust me, they’re perfectly round and look great when applied.
Good luck with your project! I’d love to see when you do yours as well!
