Yesterday was a sad day and at the same time a turning point day- my husband’s visa ran out so he had to go back to the US. For that reason, I had to take him to the airport and in the same way I’ve done it 6 months ago when I picked him up (you can see that post here), I had a wander around King’s Cross. It is sad but it just means that I am not destined to stay in England forever. I picked up a copy of the Evening Standard to read on the train and came across a piece of news about dancer Sergei Polunin that struck a chord. He is quitting the Royal Ballet and his reasons for doing so sounded so familiar, even though on an entirely different scale. He lives the high life in London, I live in Grantham, a small town which was once voted the most boring in the UK. Nonetheless, he says he is bored of London, that he doesn’t have the freedom to express his personality, etc and this is how I’ve been feeling about living in a small town. For this reason and given the fact that my husband cannot stay here anyway I don’t feel so bad about change. For the time being the separation will be difficult but we have done it before. for now I’ll just keep myself busy with work and my personal projects and time will fly!
I had an hour to burn before my train back and took some photos with my phone, as I didn’t take my camera with me.

Time will go by fast and sooner than you think you'll be together again.
May god hear you.
You do so very well taking life as it comes while enjoying and taking notice of what is around you.
Changes are always good. And, as you say, time will fly.
Fabulous pics
Thank you for your kind words.
