What I wore on Saturday

March 12, 2012

As mentioned in a previous post, Saturday I went to Nottingham to help a friend do some clothes shopping.

We also stopped by at the Nottingham Contemporary. There were a couple of shows there at the moment: Thomas Demand, with a collection of architecture models photographs and DAAR, with a residency in decolonizing architecture. My favourite was the latter, it was a very interesting view on the importance of architecture in the colonization of Palestine.

Ended up going to all sorts of shops and even though I saw a few things I liked I managed to resist, except for this beauty at Zara:

It was reduced from £60 to £10. I really can’t resist a bargain, especially when it’s this beautiful.

This is what I wore for my little shopping trip:
Turban– Lomography shop in Lisbon
Black fabric flower necklace– A present, but I think it’s from George
Fishtail Parka – Outlet store in Picadilly, Manchester. The tags have been ripped off so I don’t know what it was originally.
Green Boyfriend Cardigan – Zara
Dress – H&M Trend
Socks and tights – Primark (I think)
High tops – Draven, via TK Maxx
Bag– Primark

Excellent score on the jacket! I love your turban and black flower necklace. The necklace reminds me of the one Mis Papelicos is wearing in gold on her latest post. I want those stairs to nowhere.
