Plans for the weekend in London

March 29, 2012

I had written this post before, but it seems like Blogger ate it for breakfast. Has this happened to you before?
Anyway, just a roundup of what I plan to do over the weekend in London. As I don’t go down there that often, I’ll try to make the most of it.

I am on a quest to try and find this dress over at Monki, I’ve loved sailor style since I was a wee girl in the 90’s, with my American Navy surplus tops and French Navy jackets and I still pursue it. Sadly it is sold out online and I am going to stop by the store to see if they still have it. Not really counting on it as these things tend to disappear quite quickly, but at least I’ll have a look at the shop too. They have really cool things and not so expensive prices either and the shop is fun to look at too.

Yayoi Kusama exhibition- with London so close, it would be stupid to miss the opportunity of seeing it for myself. I know that a lot of UK based bloggers have already been and posted their own photos but you’ll have to bear with me on this.

I am also going there to hang out with my friends that I am staying with (I haven’t seen them in a while) and will be attending my friend’s birthday party. So we will be going out for drinks and some food and maybe a little dance (which is something I haven’t done in a while, I don’t like the bars/clubs in this town nor their music). I have also learned that one of my best friends from Portugal is coincidentally going to be in London on the same dates, so it’ll be great to see her! All in all a great time is going to be had, no doubt and will be loading up on photos. I’m so excited, I can’t hardly wait!

I've always loved sailor dresses too. I had one when I was little and loved it all the more because I had pointy shiny white shoes that clicked when I walked to wear with it. I think I got the shoes and dress for Easter. How timely.
