Every time I go to London I have a wonderful time. Last weekend was no exception- I got to go out with my friend Fábio and friends and danced the night away until 5 am at
Popstarz. The next day I met up with my friends Amy from
Dolls Are United,
Maud and
Aiden. It was great to see them if only for a short while and to spend time with Amy in person as we only get to talk online most of the time!
As all of us enjoy the vintage and handmade thing, we headed to the Spitalfields Market where the Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair was being held. I think I had been to it before but stumbled upon it by accident, on my first visit to Spitalfields. It was teeming with people and goodies and after a while it was difficult to know where to turn to – too many good things crammed into one place tends to do this. We walked around, snapped photos, had a giggle and looked at the shiny things of the market. Thank you Aiden for being a gentleman and helping me with my weekend luggage, I wouldn’t have taken so many photos if it wasn’t for your gracious help!

One of my favourite stalls was ‘Forgotten Stitches’ by Rebekah MacMullan. I actually follow Rebekah on Instagram and recognized her pretty wares. It was hard to choose what to get, so many beautiful things on her stall! I ended up buying a little cute pin with 2 hearts hanging.
We quickly wandered through the obscenities section….
Some antique books have amazing colours and designs!
We wandered towards Brick Lane and I got to see some street art, which is one of my favourite things to do in that area of the city.
Amy then took me to her family’s restaurant and I had hands down the best Chinese meal in a long time! We ate tofu prepared in several different ways and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much!
One of the tofu dishes we ate as a starter – the food was so nice and we were so chatty we forgot to take more photos of the food. Ha well!
All in all a very good time was had, as always. You can also check Amy’s post about Saturday here.
