Just a quickie with a couple of things I’ve worn over the last couple of weeks. Both taken with my phone, stolen images from daily routine.
Worn to work, photo taken at a fitting room at George. (Yes, George). My friend Lili found the cowboy patterned shirt dress online and I couldn’t resist trying it on. It was cute, I bought it, although it’s a bit of a polyester nightmare. The white stole keeps leaving a trail of white fluff on my coat and anything else around it, including my throat. The skirt is actually silver and I like how I managed to dress it down for the office, as I believe metallics are just other colours and should be worn anytime you want (with the necessary caveats).
Fluffy white stole – origianlly H&M, thrifted in Florida, Brooch (unseen) – Pedra Dura, present from friends, Coat – H&M, via Ebay, Tights – Primark, Boots – Dr Martens, via Ebay, Skirt – H&M, via Ebay, Bag – Martin Margiela for H&M, Shirt (unseen)– Thomas Pink. via Ebay
I don’t know what to call this cape. Suggestions went from Scottish Widow to super hero. All I can say is that I like it and I need to wear it more often, nothing like walking around with a piece of flowing fabric hanging down your back. Ideas I get from goths, I suppose.
Red Beret– American Apparel, present from Linda, Cardigan – Primark, Dress – H&M, Cape – from Ebay, Shoes – Irregular Choice, via Ebay.
I hope you’re not too cold, wherever you are!

Well, it IS cold, so I am all about the coats, boots and tights at the moment!
I love your moulting stole and the gold skirt, and that cape does indeed deserve to be worn often! Fab shoes too. xxx

Love the pleated skirt, blue tights and (unfortunately shedding) collar, and that cape is seriously awesome! I love the look of your hat and t-strap shoes. Gorgeous outfits for keeping warm!

I love capes too. And Doc Martens. It’s true, these are items from a super hero’s closet but we gotta dress how we feel 🙂 It hasn’t been very cold here. It’s actually kind of unnerving that it’s the middle of December and we are still waiting for winter to show up in the great white north!
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No – it’s Superblogger!
Up up and away!
