Christmas aftermath

December 28, 2012

Another Christmas came and went, as always. Food was eaten, presents unwrapped and now it’s the countdown until the New Year.

On Christmas Eve Mr D and I went out for dinner and had a pleasant meal at Columbia, this Spanish/ Cuban restaurant.

Coat and Dress: H&M, via Ebay, Shoes: Office, via Ebay, Headband: H&M

On Christmas Day, this is what I wore, as we had a dinner party going on:

Headband: H&M, Dress: H&M via Ebay, Shoes: Office via Ebay.

Can you see the festive nails? The ring I am wearing was a git from Mr D’s grandma. She was very kind to pass some of her jewelry to him, for me to wear.

Speaking of gifts, right before I left England I received Miss Fox‘s gift through the post, for the blogger Christmas gift exchange, organized by Lakota! I got a lovely cat box, vintage comics and a box of chocolate! Thank you!

Did you have a lot of presents? Which one was your favourite?

Estavas tão gira!! Adorei o vestido 🙂 E essa caixinha com os gatos é um amor.
É difícil escolher um presente preferido… talvez os óculos Irregular Choice que andava a namorar há séculos! ;)***

I answer your question : yes, the skirt is from h&m, ity was a dress and I cut it, because it didn’t suit me.

I love your festive looks here. I’d love to own a furry coat like that.
I didn’t get many gifts but I am most fond of one that isn’t finished yet. I bought some art prints in the summer and am going to get them framed….well, just as soon as my hubs goes back to work.
    Happy New Year!

Two completely different looks on Christmas Eve and Day – what a treat for my soul:)). I looked passable on Christmas Eve, but a right mess on Christmas Day, but you already know why and thank you so, so much for your kind words! I’m enjoying your US travels on IG:) You look so beautiful in your Chrissy frock and the vintage comics and tin look so sweet:). I never have enough scented candles and I got three lovely ones this year, two Pre-Code movie DVD box sets from my lovely hubby and the sweetest cushion from my daughter – there were other gifts but I’m too sleepy from too much fruit cake to remember! xoxo
