Family jewels

April 24, 2013

I haven’t DIYed as much as I would like to recently but was very inspired by a similar project made by a friend. So I took to Ebay and found the black angora top and the jewels. Added a needle and some thread and in a couple of sittings I finally finished it! I already have the materials to do a similar one in several colours. I can’t wait to have the time to do it!

    Looks really beautiful.
This gave me an idea what I could do with some tiny fake pearls I have from an old necklace. Not my last DYI but certainly my next.

I hope you get back on the DIY train asap, I love the little hat you made me. I was actually thinking about it today, it’s almost summer time, good weather to wear it!

Thank you! It really is comfy. I’m glad I got to wear it at least once before the weather warms up too much!

I confess I had no idea what jelly babies looked like. I only moved to the UK a bit over a month ago and in Portugal we don’t have edible babies haha, which actually fine because eating babies is creepy. But yeah, I realised I hate them!

I loved the Company event. I left with so many ideas and also got to talking with a girl there, which is nice because I still don’t know that many people here, let alone ones who are interested in fashion. I felt really inspired.

Saw a couple of similar diys on pinterest and they look amazing! Perfect way to recycle an old item you might want to throw away.

My most recent diy is a washi tape tree hat holder in my room 😛
