To celebrate the opening of the Grace of Monaco film (on the 6th of June), I was invited by Glitzy Secrets to style one of their beautiful accessories. It was difficult to pick a favourite, but I ended up setting my sights on the glittery Starlet’s Dream hair pin, that really invokes that Old Hollywood glamour. The website has all sorts of bridal and vintage inspired accessories – not only for your hair – and some even in Art Deco style.

I got inspired by some of Grace Kelly’s old movie star headshots, hence the black and white and the gradients. The hairpin is absolutely gorgeous and a great addition to my messy bouffant – which is pretty much the only type of bouffant that I can make, but I didn’t just say this. Other more hair inclined and talented people can add them to more complicated chignons and hairdos and It’ll look fabulous.

Tres elegante! The hair accessory looks so chic, but could also be playful. I wish I could do a bouffant.
