Review – Snapfish stocking fillers

Snapfish offers a wide range of gifts you can personalise with your own photos. Snapfish offered me some credit so I could test the products. I ordered a Desk Calendar, a Jigsaw Puzzle and a few items from the Personalised Stocking Stuffers, namely a notebook, a mug and a printed flat book. I was very pleased with the result.

The service is easy to use and very straight forward as it was easy for me to work out where to upload photos and make any necessary modifications. The integration with Facebook and Flickr is super practical – I just uploaded photos directly from my Flickr photostream. The prints are good quality and the colours don’t seem off. Also the paper is good and durable.

I think this is a very good option for Christmas or any other occasion as there’s nothing more personalised than using a photo you took yourself. Everything arrived in one piece as all the items were carefully packaged, insuring nothing was bent or destroyed while going through the postal service. Not to mention that it arrived pretty quickly!

I would recommend having a look at the seasonal promotions they’ve got going at the moment as the little printed booklet, for example, cost less than £7. I made it with pictures of my weekend in Mallorca and I think it’ll be a nice memento to keep. The notebook was also a decent price and the only narcissistic item I had printed as I really like that photo. You can have it lined or blank, I got myself a blank one, for my doodles. I am taking the desk calendar to the office and it will be nice to go through each month and see an oerview of fun things I did in 2014.

The other items were made with photos of the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition at the Barbican (the puzzle) and the mug I used an image of one of the neon installations I took at the Frieze. The cameras are my Kodak Brownies and I thought they’d look cute as props, don’t you think?

I’m definitely putting some of these under the Christmas tree, as I really love them!
