Last week I headed out to the Debenhams Press Office on Oxford Street to attend what has been so far the best event of the season – the Blogger’s Christmas Jumper Party!
My friend Jesse from Hecticophilia came along and we had a lot of fun catching up, chatting to other bloggers and were happy that everyone from Debenhams was very friendly as well. And why was this one of the best events of the season yet? Simples:
Everything was very well organised, there were nibbles to eat juice and mulled wine (yum!) to drink and several activities to ensure we had plenty to photograph and do during the party (and plenty of light to do the pictures too). We took photos on the big sleigh, had our nails done and played a few games – raffles, finding the special candy canes and guessing the number of snakes in a jar, while admiring the lovely jumpers on display on the mannequins. Check out the group photo here! (complete with mulled wine)
Look that that merry-go-round jumper: isn’t that totally adorable?
Everyone came away not only with a very generous goodie bag with several home accessories from Debenhams, but also chocolates and cute accessories from Phase Eight. Boy, were we spoiled or what?
On the way out we wandered through the store and took a few photos of some of the Christmas themed displays. I can’t help it. The colours and the shiny objects just draw me in!
One of my favourite gifts (besides the super warm and snuggly jumper) was without a doubt Percival the patchwork owl (yes I named it) and I’m cuddling it as I’m sat on my bed while blogging these very words. Looking at it brings a smile to my face as it brings back the memories of an evening well spent.
