… It’s a laughing riot. A few of us met on Thursday night at DF/Mexico, this nice Mexican place in Shoreditch for a spot of fun and food. So there we were, just a handful of us, with cameras and phones at the ready for what turned out to be the most tweeted and photographed meal in London on that night. That’s right, when bloggers meet, we become shameless – cameras and phones are out and while we laugh at our own silliness, we take dozens of photos of our delicious food, drinks and each other. Because good moments and good food are to be registered, right?
The night’s group was Jasiminne Posh Broke and Bored, Emma Bloomzy and Honey The Girl Next Shore and even though we were missing some of our mates, we still managed to have a great time.
I had never been to this diner before but I was convinced that it’s worth coming back – the food was good, the frozen margaritas amazing, and they have great light for taking photos, making it the perfect habitat for bloggers, ha! After all, with all those lighting features hanging from the ceiling, it had to be. Special kudos to who does their social media, particularly Twitter. It has been the most fun exchange of this sort that I’ve had in a long time. Very sassy and funny, thumbs up for social media done right!
The amazing passion fruit and raspberry frozen margaritas the whole of Twitter and the interwebz had to know about.
Nachos, guacamole, tortillas… perfect.
Bloggers at work. I’m sure everyone else thought we were obnoxious but who cares. They know nothing.
The aftermath. Yeah. I was a big girl and had a Big Boy Beef Burrito, yum!
Emma talking very animatedly about something.
Jasiminne and Honey were listening, quite attentively. The topics of the night were surgery, medical conditions, wedding planning and that sort of stuff. You know, girl talk.
Cutie!
Margaritas and I, we get along so well… responsibly. Thank you DF/Mexico for them and putting up with us, and loads of love to the girls, you always manage to cheer me up.

Mexican food is always blog-worthy. Beautiful place. I love your turtle neck petticoat dress.
Thank you 🙂 It was a really nice evening and I could have that food every day of the month!
