I’ve been out and about in the Angel and Islington areaa couple of times but as the days are so short, it’s always been too dark for photos. During the Christmas break I was able to go for a walk around there before sundown (and during!) and made a few photos. I particularly like that part of London because of the quantity and quality of shops and restaurants you can find. The gastronomy variety is great and there are some pretty cool bars and old traditional pubs (my favourites). There’s a particular street, Camden Passage, that’s perfect for vintage and antiques enthusiasts such as myself – you can get lost for hours looking at all the fabulous stuff you can find in them. If the photos make you curious, just hop on the tube and go out there for a stroll, it’s well worth it!
Cat shop. The best shop, obvs.
I can’t resist a good doggie!
Old painted signs fascinate me and it’s great to see that despite their age, you cans till see a lot of them around town. All you have to do is look up to find them!
Chapel Market. It was closing down by the time we got there. So much more to see around there, I hope to go back some time soon.

This was a nice read and the pictures were quite lovely. Especially the glass of the bird. It does seem like a nice place. Thanks for the info. When I am in London I will have to check out. 🙂
These places all look fun to visit!
Islington is one of my very favorite neighborhoods. Unfortunately it’s a bit more than a tube ride for me. Beautiful beautiful photos.
