Last Tuesday morning I got up extra early for a good reason (I’m not a morning person, trust me). I went down to Debenham’s Press Office for the official launch of the new Debenhams SS15 swimwear collection , and had a glimpse of what they have on offering for the next beach season. As I got there, I was greeted by these two nice young men who were offering a wide selection of breakfast beverages. I accepted a glass of O.J. and thanked them very much for their kindness. I retributed by expressing some concern on the fact that they were half naked, in this awful awful cold, but they wouldn’t take my coat for warmth – I think I’m getting old. I then moved on and proceeded to examine the wares on display.
As you can see, prints are going to be big, the more colourful the better! There was definitely a tropical vibe in the room and it made it a bit hard not to think of getting on a plane, to find some place to lay down in the sun and swim in between cocktails. As for the sandals, they’re pretty cool – I liked the big gemstone apliques and colour combos. Wouldn’t mind adding a couple of these to my extensive shoe collection.

Oh wow I’m loving the tropical prints especially the one in the first photo! I’ve never really considered Debenhams for swimwear – I always though of them as not ‘youthful’ enough – but this collection is so much fun, I think i’ll give them a chance! x
