Last week saw me attend another fun event down at Debenhams – a Pancake Day celebration! For those who might be reading and don’t know what Pancake Day is all about, it’s also called Shrove Tuesday and marks the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of Lent. The idea is to eat plentiful before sacrificing and being more contained during the days before Easter. I am not religious and I don’t have the habit of giving anything up for Lent so I’ll happily scoff down the pancakes, thank you very much.
The event was a lot of fun – we were invited to hang out and prepare our own pancakes, which was made a lot easier by the Breville crepe maker. I swear I had never tried one before but now I’d like to have one at home now, as my breakfast pancakes (or crepes) would come out so much better!
I met up with another bloggers and we all had a few good laughs as we stuffed ourselves with pancakes both sweet and savoury, along with a couple of glasses of bubbly. Amazing!
Thank you Debenhams for another great event!
What are you doing to celebrate Pancake Day?

I’ve read your blog for ages and was kicking myself when I realised you’d come to a Debenhams event and I hadn’t said hello! Hopefully I’ll see you at another of our events, or another blogger event soon!
