Things are changing. At least for me. Sometimes you just realize that whatever you’ve been doing isn’t working anymore and then, something’s gotta give.

I was glad to hear that I am not the only one feeling a shift and a pull towards different and new things. It would appear that the stars have something to do with it – if you believe in Astrology, know that the Eclipses and something about a Cardinal Grand Cross may be the culprits. Regardless of who’s to blame, to me this is a process that has been slowly been evolving over the last few months. A need to renew things, purge unnecessary ones, and realign with my true self. It has been gathering momentum and now it’s in full swing. Like my The Clash tee says – I want complete control. Control of my life and my destiny.

I am currently taking small but sure strides in the pursuit of happiness, my happiness. Like a phoenix, I need to rebirth and this change will manifest in many forms. Slowly they will become apparent and the Universe will reveal what are the next steps of my way. For now, I have decided that I am refurbishing this little old space and will be taking it to slightly different paths. I want to be more creative and share more artwork, explore different concepts, talk about lots of other things. Stay tuned for more!

Challenge accepted!

I have to say that I rarely pick clothes for other people but it was something I thought could be an interesting and fun exercise. It’s always different to imagine an outfit with a different taste and body type.  For that reason I engaged my friends Daniela and Filipa for a photoshoot with photographer David Bridle. Once again the collaboration with The Boutique, proved invaluable as Debbie graciously lent us a couple of items to use. I really enjoyed dressing up the girls and I look forward to more fun days like this.

DANIELA

Daniela asked me to pick an 80’s Madonna inspired look and the big numbers top from The Boutique was just perfect. Add a lot of bracelets and wild hair and it’s done!

“Well, recently I had the most amazing experience. Since forever, I always wished to be Madonna for one day. Take her glorious and crazy days from her and apply it on me. At least, look wise! 🙂

My friend and stylist Sara D has invited me for a private photo shoot and let me tell you that it has been fantastic, to say the least. She was able to choose the right clothes, accessories and hair style in order to get me “striking a pose” with all its potential.

I said to Sara that all has been fabulous and I am certainly repeating the experience. Although we are friends, Sara has shown me a professional side that has swept me away. I am now a client as well!

Thanks Sara. You were spot on. I certainly feel like a Diva now! :)”

FILIPA

Filipa didn’t ask me for a theme in particular but I thought we could try a few things she would never pick up herself. The polkadot top from The Boutique was one of those things and I think it is a winner!

“I’m not the flowery, big bold patters or bright colours type of girl. But, leaving it all in Sara’s hands has allowed me to try new things and I can say I was gladly surprised with the results achieved. Flowers in the hair are definitely a look to repeat 🙂 The clothes chosen were really nice and I absolutely loved the sequined shoes. Than you Sara for this experience.”
