Week in Photos

July 28, 2013

Hello friends! Not a lot happened this week, as you can see… Here are my new unicorn socks as well as my current favourite necklace, that I purchased on offer from the Victoria and Albert Museum. The weather’s been real nice and I’ve been wearing sandals almost every day. woo! The nail polish colours are from Hema (from my trip to Belgium) and Mini HD (a present from Sandrine, who brought it from Paris). I also picked up this Stars and Stripes bralet on a sale for £2, for that price I wouldn’t mind trying out that trend. I have to say it worked out well.

How was your week?

Frida for one day

June 3, 2013

A couple of weeks ago I got together with friends and photographer David Bridle for a little photoshoot. When I saw the flowery clothes and accessories at The Boutique, Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was the inspiration that came to mind. I did two similar looks, with the main variation being the accessories. If you are familiar with Frida’s work you will know that it features mostly her self portraits and always with a very serious expression on her face. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any painting of her smiling, please correct me if I’m wrong. I hope you like these, I had a lot of fun preparing the looks and planning the photoshoot.

I wanna rock and roll all night!

April 5, 2013

… and party every day! Another outfit that proved to be a little bit too much for the office. I don’t know if it was the KISS sweatshirt, the mint tutu skirt or the glittery golden boots. Most likely the combination of the three! I took these photos in the bathroom as I was shivering with cold when I got in (and the garden after all the snow and cold is looking dreadful but no one needs to know). Thankfully it seems like the weather is getting a tiny wee bit warmer, finally.

Bitchface! I can has it!

Apologies for the scruffy hair – I’m trying to grow it but it looks awful. I feel like chopping it off every day! Fear not, I have a hair appointment in a couple of week’s time and I’ll feel a lot better about it as soon as it’s done.

Details of this amazing ensemble: Jacket – H&M , Cat ring and matching earrings – Betsey Johnson, Shirt – Thomas Pink, Mint Tulle Skirt – some random shop, all via Ebay. Glittery Golden Boots – Primark, KISS Sweatshirt and Bow – H&M (on sale!), Scarf – handmade by moi.

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday!
