Office Looks 3 – Totally Inappropriate looks for the Office

May 11, 2013

To be sane in a world of madmen is in itself madness.

(Jean Jacques Rousseau)

Given the above, I choose to be mad and wear what makes me happy to my workplace. Although this has been my second week at home like a beached whale in bed recovering from the op, I still have office outfits to share, so here we go now. Wooo!

And you ask, why is this inappropriate? Because it’s fun! You’re not supposed to have fun at work! lol

Details : Leopard Coat – Bershka, Cardigan – Vintage, Stripy Tshirt – Zara, Dress – Nishe (via Ebay), Shoes – Dr Martens (via Paige Joanna), Bag – Target, Bee Ring – Pedra Dura (present from friends in Lisbon)

This one is a favourite among children. Children and I have a lot in common when it comes to taste in clothes.

Details – Jacket – Monki (from a swap with Lili), Scuba Top – H&M (via Ebay), Skater Skirt – Ebay, Bag – Ahcahcum Muchacha, Rainbow Platform Shoes – Office Outlet on Ebay

So here I am waiting for all the bruising to heal and become less painful. I should be going back to the grind stone on Monday. How was your week?

Week in photos

April 28, 2013

Sunday Sunday, I love a lazy Sunday. I mean who doesn’t? Having a lie in, time to do your own projects, nap and snack when you want… The perfect day of the week if you ask me!

Last weekend I traveled to Lincoln to go to the movies. It was a nice trip out.

I wore a big flower on my hair and my uber cool DIY project.

Tabi shoes from Japan, Silver jeans and Dr Martens high heeled loafers.

More inappropriate wear for the Office-  rainbow platforms from the Office outlet on Ebay and the Ahcahcum Muchacha cat bag. I love it!

The red sparkly shoes I got from a blog sale at Emily Divine and the embroidered ones are from Oysho and I’ve had them for god knows how many years…

I love getting nice things through the post – particularly if they have s sense of humour. I got the rosette from Dear Colleen, a super fun indie shop from New Zealand. It’s a one woman show and what a great show it is, go on right ahead and have a look, you won’t regret it. I also learned how to use my sewing machine for the first time this week. I am hoping it will be a lasting love affair.

Yesterday I went to a tea party at Chloe’s. I was even given a teacup to match my outfit, how cute was that?

Party mask and cake!

We played twister and it was a laugh… to watch!!! I’ll be posting more about it during the week.

When I got home  I found a lovely package that had arrived when I was out – A flower crown and loads of goodies from Desiree of Pull Your Socks Up! Thank you for all the goodies – the kookaburra magnet went straight on the fridge and I can’t wait for an opportunity to wear the amazing flowers on my head.
