Autumnal colours in Regent’s Park, London

October 27, 2014

The other weekend I headed down to Regent’s park for a day walking among the sculptures and a lot of art at the Frieze Art Festival (More on that to come). You can see me here, happily smiling next to a pumpkin, by one of my favourite artists, Yayoi Kusama. (If you missed my visit to her retrospective a couple of years ago at the Tate, just click here)

This was a day of wearing a lot of new stuff: this amazing shirt was picked up in a very quirky shop the other week in Mallorca and the collar I got it from the Orla Kiely sample sale. How cute is it?

Full outfit description: Bag and shirt – some shop in Mallorca, Skirt – H&M, via Ebay, Socks – H&M, Shoes – Clarks, Collar – Orla Kiely, Coat – Zara (hand me down from my friend Lili)

The day was lovely, even if a bit grey. As a lot of walking was expected to happen, I decided to test drive¬†my new brogues, c/o of Clarks. It was a good idea, because they are extremely comfortable. I can see myself wearing them a lot this Winter, as I do a lot of walking these days and can’t be arsed with uncomfortable shoes anymore… oh, joys of getting older.

Here’s the TV bag, also picked up from the same quirky Mallorca shop. I broke my rule of not buying pleather bags for it, as it’s too much fun- I have a soft spot for kitsch, clearly!

I’m joining Share-In-Style at Mis Papelicos, see you there too!
