A couple of weeks ago I went to Northampton for the first time, to see some friends. We had a lovely weekend and a very good laugh. Filipa was there too so I asked her to take these photos for me, for old time’s sake. It was really good fun!
I’ve been busy lately, with friends visiting, getting involved in interesting projects and generally enjoying life in London. I’m trying to be better with blogging, but I am sure that it’ll get better when the weather gets cold – I tend to avoid going out when it’s too cold, haha. For now, I’ll try to carry on blogging, as much as possible.
What I wore: Jacket – Zara, Skirt – H&M via Ebay, Stripy top – Vintage, handmade by my late great Aunt Irene, Satchel – Second hand, via blog sale, Tights – Walmart (I think), Shoes – Dune, via TK Maxx, Headband – Savers, Sunnies – Betsey Johnson, via TK Maxx
I’m joining the lovely ladies at Share- In – Style this week, join us with your own Summer outfit at Sacramento’s!
According to recent blog posts here on the blog, it would appear that I currently spend my life in cemeteries. It’s only half true – I still go to the one close to work almost every day.
That said, I ended up spending a couple of hours at another one of London’s Victorian cemeteries (Bromptom Cemetery) the other weekend. It’s quite big and overgrown. I took a few pics, of course. Do not think this was a gloomy day, because it wasn’t. It was sunny and the crickets could be heard all around.
this is what I wore on this particular day: vintage dress from ASOS Marketplace, Irregular Choice shoes and white bobby socks from Primark. Yes, that’s the only white thing about this outfit, but oh so important. (I’m adding this post to Mis Papelico’s Share-In-Style)
It’s time for another Share-In-Style! This time the lovely Peggy Sue of My Name is Peggy Sue invited me to partner up for this week’s linkup, under the theme Fruits. I was very lucky that it was actually fairly warm over the last couple of days and I managed to wear something Summery and colourful!
Outfit details: Shirt – D&G (from a swap), Skirt -Primark, Necklace – Pull and Bear, Shoes – Office
And here’s the lovely Peggy Sue, isn’t she adorable? And what about that apple shaped bag, isn’t it the cutest thing ever?

Things are changing. At least for me. Sometimes you just realize that whatever you’ve been doing isn’t working anymore and then, something’s gotta give.
I was glad to hear that I am not the only one feeling a shift and a pull towards different and new things. It would appear that the stars have something to do with it – if you believe in Astrology, know that the Eclipses and something about a Cardinal Grand Cross may be the culprits. Regardless of who’s to blame, to me this is a process that has been slowly been evolving over the last few months. A need to renew things, purge unnecessary ones, and realign with my true self. It has been gathering momentum and now it’s in full swing. Like my The Clash tee says – I want complete control. Control of my life and my destiny.
I am currently taking small but sure strides in the pursuit of happiness, my happiness. Like a phoenix, I need to rebirth and this change will manifest in many forms. Slowly they will become apparent and the Universe will reveal what are the next steps of my way. For now, I have decided that I am refurbishing this little old space and will be taking it to slightly different paths. I want to be more creative and share more artwork, explore different concepts, talk about lots of other things. Stay tuned for more!
Outfit details: Jacket – Zara (from a swap), Skirt – Matalan, Shoes (unseen)- Irregular Choice, Cap – Primark, Cardi – H&M, T-shirt – The Clash (purchased at their pop up store in London)
I’m joining Share-In-Style, at Mis Papelicos – the theme is “Pink” this Saturday. Join us there too!
I was well chuffed when Sacramento invited me to style an outfit for this month’s Share-In-Style. This month the theme is Flowers and it was a bit of a tricky one to do as I am not usually a florals kind of gal. But, as I have way too many clothes, I managed to find something and do a bit of a floral overkill haha.
Here is Sacramento herself, the queen of pattern mixing, in all her floral glory. Note how sunny it is around where she lives, in Spain.
And this is my contribution to the equation. Observe the drabness of the light and the colours. Not good. Where’s the Spring we have been promised?
Outfit details: Flower crown – Primark , Mint shirt – Stradivarius, Skirt and tights – H&M, Shoes – Irregular Choice, Artsy fartsy effects– Photoshop
Join us with your florals (or as you are, just join us!) over at Sacramento’s!
