London Shopping!

May 10, 2012

As I went to London the other day, I inevitably picked up a few items here and there. I’m glad to say that I got somethings that I really love and hope to be wearing for a long time!

Got this cutie at the Oh My Love sample sale we stumbled upon. You can also find some of their stuff at ASOS here. This is the second garment I’ve ever bought with an eyelash pattern. How drole.
I nearly squealed (or maybe I did) when I saw this and I had to have it. This way I can have Stephen Patrick close to my heart  at all times. Got this beaut from the Pretty Cuckoo stall at Spitalfields market :
Not only the items are pretty but also the presentation is great. I love that my necklace is in a little box, it kinda makes it feel even more precious. Check out the website for a lot more lovely things here.
I also got this cool puddy cat at the same market, this time from the Roxie Sweetheart stall, that has loads of kawaii japan inspired items! I had to go with the kitty cat one as everyone knows I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady, but if I had the much wanted bottomless bank account I would have left with a few things more. Definitely must haves for anyone into Lolita style.
Here is Roxie herself at her stall. Isn’t she lovely? You can find her blog here  and the shop here.
I went a little crazy on the nail department:
Got these nail wraps at Top Shop. The red ones you can also get from ASOS here and the Meadham Kirchhoff ones you can get from the TopShop website here. I’m really glad I finally got to get the MK ones as I’ve been lusting for them for a while now. It’s pretty much the only MK item I’m able to afford!
All the nail polish I got (over some of the flyers I picked up). Crazy and obsessed? Why do you say that?
It didn’t help that they were doing a promotion at Urban Outfitters. The colours I got are Peacock, Twinkle, Moon Dust and Electra by W.I.P. at Urban Outfitters and Eclipse and Beam from Topshop. I had to force myself to leave a couple more colours behind at Topshop as the selection was amazing. Click on the links if you feel inclined to getting the same ones. They’re even more beautiful irl!

My friend Lili got this book and recommended it so as we stopped by the Rough Trade record shop I got a copy for myself, signed by the author.

It is temporarily out of stock on Amazon but you can read the descriptions and the reviews here. (Ha! I got mine cheaper. Take that Amazon!)

You got some great stuff! I love the eyelash print – is it a blouse or a dress? And the Morrissey necklace is fabulous!
