Today is the longest day of the year – the Summer Solstice is upon us and because of that, I’m sharing some sunset photos.
These were taken on the 41 road in Florida of the sun going down, on our last day at the south of Florida. I loved our little road trip, we had so much fun in the car just singing along to classic rock on the radio, laughing and adding more words to our own lexicon (we both speak English, Spanish and Portuguese and have our own jumbled up vocabulary). It was perfect to reconnect, after spending almost 6 months apart.
I’ve put together a little playlist of nice songs to see the sun set to. click here for it, I hope you enjoy it.
Country Leaver – The Dandy Warhols
Sarah Minor – Keaton Henson
Communist Daughter – Neutral Milk Hotel
Quelqu’un m’a dit – Carla Bruni
She Was Born To Be My Unicorn – Tyrannosaurus Rex
Slow Dance – Starfucker
Loneliness Of The Middle Distance Runner – Belle and Sebastian
I’m Not Done – Fever Ray
Reflection of the Television – The Twilight Sad
Soldier On – The Temper Trap
Stone on the Water – Badly Drawn Boy
Epilogue, the War Is over (Sleepers) – Scott Walker
