In the navy!

June 23, 2012

I don’t think I really need to link up this one song, do I?

This is something I wore the other week. I had to take the photos in the  bathroom as it was raining a bit too much when I got home and it’s the room with naked walls and decent light. It makes for a different background I suppose. I din’t wear the hat to work (they’d think me crazier than they already do) but that’s how I imagined the whole outfit to be so it’s only fair that I wear it for the photo.
Anyway, I had worn the salopettes the previous day with a similar top (I have too many stripy tops, ugh) but wasn’t extremely happy with all I wore with it so thought I’d try again the next day and now I like it. I jeep saying this but this colour combo is one of my favourites, as well as the sailor theme.

Hat – 1930’s, from Opera House, an antique store in Arcadia, FL
Salopettes – American Apparel, via Ebay
Breton – H&M
Cardigan – Zara
Shoes – Bershka
Brooch – Vintage, from the flea market in Lisbon.
