Oh how I miss these streets today, looking outside my window in grey old England. I loved the southern architecture and the luxuriant plants that could be found everywhere. It was an overcast day but it was quite hot, but not too unpleasant. This is one of those places that I have visited and came away with the feeling that I wouldn’t mind living there. It was so colourful and full of nice details, it was perfect for me. Plus it is a gay friendly town, fact that is prominently displayed by rainbow flags everywhere. I thought this was quite refreshing, taking into consideration all sorts of anti-gay nonsense you hear about in the news coming from the US.
Sorry for the amount of photos, it is very difficult to choose! (you can click on any image to make it bigger, I just don’t want it to be too much of a pain to scroll down)
Plus some more from Instagram.
We were, like it says on the sign, on the last and first mile of the US, the southernmost point.
These little corners were everywhere. What an amazing place to live in.
You’re probably sick of this by now. There’s some more photos here if you care to take a look.

Já estive na Florida, Orlando e Miami, mas não em Key West. Deve ser super interessante fazer esse percurso de carro.
