Crystal Castles must be one of my favourite electro bands. Their songs are a lot of fun and I’d love to see one of their shows and dance the night away. They’re playing a couple of festivals this year here in England but I’m not a huge fan of the camping experience and wouldn’t go on my own. I’ll have to wait for one of their solo shows, I suppose. For now, I have them on my music player to listen every day on my way to work.
Here is a close up of what I was wearing
Headscarf – flea market in Lisbon
Tshirt– Crystal Castles, via Ebay
Cardigan – H&M
Trousers – Primark
Shoes – Otto et Moi
Clutch – vintage Fenwick, via Ebay
I’ve been wearing this scarf a lot lately. I got it many years ago and it was one of those things that were resting in a drawer for such long time before I decided how to wear it, that I almost got rid of it. Since I’ve been now wearing a lot of scarves on my head, I’m glad I didn’t as it has the perfect length to be tied as a neat bow like this.
The clutch I also wore, not shown on the previous photos. The shoes I’ve had them for a long time but never dared to wear them when I lived in Lisbon – the cobblestones destroyed too many of my best pairs of shoes so I am glad I saved them, as I now wear them a lot more without fear. They’re by Otto et Moi, this Spanish make that sadly no longer exists. They made the sweetest shoes decorated with cupcakes, ice creams and bambis but also quite pricey. I managed to get these from a friend who bought them and changed her mind soon after so I got a little discount. I sometimes have a look at what’s on Ebay but they’re rare and when they do appear, they’re either too expensive or not my size. Humpf.
Here are a few that I wish I had in my collection:
Aren’t they gorgeous? I can feel my blood sugar levels rising just by looking at these saccharine cutesies.
