A piece of the pumpkin pie I made, thanks to my pie enabler Suzanne from Idee Fixe, who brought me a can of pumpkin from the States!
The pumpkin photos were taken a year ago in NYC, a couple of days right after Sandy hit the city. I miss NYC but I don’t miss Sandy. I am very grateful that all the problems I had were minor and I came back in one piece back to England.
And for a few laughs…

ahh my friend just came back from Hollywood and she did that scary walk through at Universal, she said she’s never been so scared ever! And that’s something for such a staunch horror buff! I can’t even handle a children’s ghost train personally, the anticipation is toooo much!
I couldn’t stop laughing but then I wasn’t there 🙂
Oh my. That was really funny. I feel so sad for people who live in countries where they don’t really celebrate Halloween, don’t you?
Yeah! I was one of them until I moved to England 🙂
Thank you for sharing, Sara.
happy halloween guapa.

Your pie looks so yummy! Glad I could be an enabler! Omg that video was so funny, my husband thought I was crying downstairs so I had to play it for him & we were dying with laughter! Thanks we needed a good laugh! Oh I wish I knew you last year when you were here… though it wasn’t exactly the best of circumstances… do hope you get to visit again without disaster striking! XXX
