Apologies for the radio silence but as some might have noticed, I was about to move to London the last time I updated. Blogging is important but sometimes there are other things that have to be prioritized. I hope you haven’t missed me too much.
Things have happened very quickly, and I’ve been in London for less than a week, but I am now settled, in a very nice house with cool housemates and within walking distance from work. Result!
Been enjoying the sunshine, meeting people and having a general good time. Moving was a little bit daunting and having to fit everything in my room has been challenging so say the least, so more culling was in need. I’ve separated so many things that you’d think I was opening a shop. Still, there’s a lot more that need to go! This has been a week of many firsts, including my first car boot sale:
See, I’m trying to be good, a load more shoes were sold and I will have to sell a lot more shoes and clothes if I want to have a decent bedroom instead of a clothes deposit with a bed. A work in progress, that’s now progressing a lot!
I hope to resume the blogging activity, again in the old schedule of 3 posts per week, as my new job (which starts today) is, of course, my priority.
Have a lovely week everyone!
You’re doing awesome doll, love car boot sales, shame I don’t live closer. Hope you enjoy yourself in London and good luck with the new job too, hope you have a great time there :))) xx
Well, we did miss you but we totally understand. How exciting that things are working out so well for you. You look lovely in London. You are going to ROCK that town!
I bet it was super hard picking out which shoes to get rid of!
Congratulations on your move to London – that’s so exciting! It’s worth giving up a few pairs of shoes.
What an exciting time for you. I’m so happy that you have found a job and a new place to live. I had to scroll back to catch up with you life, which is moving so quickly and in the best possible way. So congratulations. Good luck with your shoe and clothing overhaul.
I moved to London just over a year ago…it’s crazy but so much fun! Enjoy the ride and take my advice, never say no to anything, making friends can be hard, even if you already have a few living here! Great blog, glad I just landed here <3 it!
Good luck with London and the new job. I love doing car boot sales – yours looked amazing, very colourful! 🙂
