Sometimes you just have to and there is nothing wrong with it. What am I talking about, you ask? Litas. Jeffrey Campbel’s ubiquitous shoe. I have seen them everywhere on the internet and it seems to be a fashion staple for anyone who calls herself a fashion blogger. Despite the fact that everyone and their mother seems to own a pair of these and it is becoming a bit annoying, I never disliked the shoe in itself and was curious to try them on and see what they looked like on me. I like their chunkiness and the fact that there are plenty of variations to choose from, my favourites being the glittery ones. I never considered investing in a pair of these as I’m not willing to fork out £120 for a pair of shoes I might not wear all that much. So one day I was in town, went into Internaçionale and lo and behold, they had a pair of fake ones for a mere £25.00. I decided that I could now test drive them without breaking the bank . So I brought the shoes home and now I know why so many people have them: they are comfy despite the height and very flattering. Even the bread man at the town market said I am his most stylish customer. (If the bread man says so, it must be true). I am even considering the possibility of treating myself to a pair of real ones – on sale preferably.
So here I am, like you’ve never seen me before, in Lita knock offs and skinny jeans!
