Arcadia is paradise on Earth. Or pretty close, if you are an avid antique and vintage hunter. Most of the shops I saw there were antique shops, full of treasures waiting to be discovered. There is also a big flea market on Saturdays but I didn’t get to see it this time as we went during the week.
We had lunch in an old american style diner called Wheeler’s Goody Cafe. It’s the place to go to if you want to know what a diner looked like a hundred years ago, as it is pretty much unchanged. The food is home made, the pricing very affordable and the service is good.
Hibiscus!
A real astronaut suit!
What I wore:
Headscarf – New Look
Dress – Primark
Bag – Internaçionale
Shoes – Bershka
Watch – Casio
Sunnies – Moschino
I wanted to stop at some of the shops but Mr D said he would take me to the best one. And so he did. It’s such a special place that it does deserve it’s own post. Hope you liked this bit of old style Americana, I know I did.
