Red White and Blue

November 28, 2012

What is that on my hands, you say? It is a pair of Firmoo glasses! That’s right, I was contacted by the brand Firmoo to do a little review of their products. I looked online for other people’s impressions of the brand and there were good and bad reviews (i have to be honest). But as there were a big percentage of satisfied people, I thought I’d give it a go, especially after falling in love with these beauties!

As my other perscription glasses are slightly more conservative, I figured I could be more adventurous and buy something more colourful. As everyone knows by now (I keep saying it, like a broken record) red white and blue is one of my favourite colour combinations and after narrowing down my selection to a few pairs, I decided these were the perfect ones for me. They’re fun and nothing like some colourful glasses to brighten up the grey days at the office! I selected the model, took some measurements of the ones I already have to make sure the size was appropriate and entered my prescription details. To make things easier you have on the website the possibility of trying the glasses on your own photo or just a generic face to see what they look like (what they call the Virtual Try On System). the prescription bit is the tricky part and I think that’s where I messed up. You see, apart from the normal numbers for each eye, you also need a figure for the distance between your eyes. This is very important but the opticians are very naughty and don’t put this figure in the prescription report they give you. On the website there is a guide on how to take this measurement but I think I messed it up and the lenses aren’t quite right. My advice would be to demand this detail from your optician if you want to order any glasses online or you’ll have to change the lenses, like I will have to.

Anyway, apart from the lenses misshap which could have been my fault, I am very happy with the glasses. They are sturdy and come in a durable hard case, so you can just chuck them in your bag. The delivery was also fairly quick and I didn’t have to wait for too long between ordering and receiving them at my doorstep. Firmoo is also doing a free pair program, you order a free pair of glasses to try them out and just pay for the postage. I’m feeling tempted to get it, as there are so many cute and affordable models on the website!

Any hot glasses/sunglasses /goggles frames you want can be found on Firmoo, and all are available for both prescription lenses and non-prescription lenses. Are you desperate to have a new look? Now here is the chance, Firmoo has launched a First Pair Free Program to people worldwide. You will absolutely fall in love with the excellent quality, affordable prices, fashionable designs, fast delivery and the good service after trying them with paying shipping only! You even can get a refund/exchange if you are not satisfied with them. It’s totally Risk free, so why not have a try?

They look so cute and match my Irregular Choice bag perfectly!!! If you do try to order something from the free glasses program let me know what it was like. I had no problems but then I only dealt with the marketing people directly and obviously I don’t want to mislead anyone.

What I wore in these photos: Dress – H&M (worn previously here), Primark loafers, customized by me,  nail polish from Kiko (295) and Ciaté (Mistress 039)
