Last week I was invited to view Sheridan‘s new S/S15 collection of homewares and lounging clothes.
The press day event was held at a suite at The Soho Hotel, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Soho area. There was cake, scones, juice and great conversation too.
I was showed around the collection in the suite and I have to say I was impressed.
The materials are gorgeous to the touch and the eye and all of it just exudes an idea of comfort that I find very seductive.
I was particularly impressed with the loungewear- the grandpa shirts in muted colours had captivated me on the website, and captivated me even more when I saw them in person. Makes me want to put one on and sit on the sofa all day drinking hot chocolate in front of the fire and finish catching up with RuPaul’s Drag Race episodes.
The bedding patterns were also impressive – I was told the designs were drawn by hand then printed on the fabric and you can really tell, as the nuances of watercolour are evident and add to its charm.
Sheridan also has Egyptian cotton towels and the new colours are bright and refreshing, just like the collection of scents available, for the home and your body too.
The tablecloth and napkins were also gorgeous, made of linen and dyed in vibrant colours – dark grey, coral and chartreuse.
If you have a little one, it’s impossible to resist the linens- how sweet are these patterns?
My favourite set was the white and navy bedding. Can you see why? It looks like sailor’s collars, one of my obsessions! I may have to treat myself to some of these…
