The Summer is currently in full swing, at least by the calendar as some of these days have been anything but summery. That’s London, I guess. To make us forget about the occasional greyness, Debenhams organised a beach party at their Head Office in the Warren Street area. I had never been there before and I have to say that the building is very impressive! After riding up on a glass elevator – something that’s always fun to do, no matter how old you are – We were directed to a terrace where we met a display of cool shoes by Call It Spring, colourful inflatable decorations, manicures by Essie and a peek at what’s going to be available in the next season.
It was the perfect end of a working day – the weather thankfully cooperated and we were allowed to hang out, catch up, have a couple of drinks and a great manicure on a terrace. That’s what relaxing is all about!
There weren’t too many of us but a couple of familiar faces, and that’s always great!
Zarah did our nails and as you can see, there were some lovely colours to pick from. I went for Sunday Funday, a lovely vibrant coral colour with dusty specks of glitter. I might add it to my own collection, I loved how it looked on my nails. I also tried for the first time the gel-like top coat and I’m sold – a week later my manicure is still going!
There were plenty of drinks to choose from…
And colourful nibbles.
These were very cute – loved the
Here’s Marina getting a cute pastel colour combo on her nails.
A close up of the cute novelties that will be available in store in the new season. Glitter makes everything better and these heels are no exception!
Another new bag, a preview of the beautiful things to come.
Essie always has the most beautiful pastels, don’t you agree?
All in all, it was an end of a day that was very well spent. All the shoes on the photos, except the ones I marked as “preview”, are currently available in store. Thank you Debenhams for the invite!
