One of the things I appreciate about street art is the ephemeral element of it. Here today, gone tomorrow. Registering these bits and pieces and see how they change or get covered over time is a fascinating process. The Brick Lane area always has some of the best street art to be seen in London, so that you can even find guided tours on the subject and the artists. If you fancy a different day out in London and would like to know more about the artists you can book a tour on websites like this one. I walked around for an hour or so and took some photos in the area, so this is what it looked like as of 15th of February 2014. Enjoy!

I love spotting street art in the cities I visit because they say so much about the political and social situation of where the people live. Although a lot still argue about it I find street art one of the most fascinating forms of art because they’re a real expression of raw feelings and that’s something I can relate with!
Wow!I It’s all so cool! Our “street art” here is mostly just gang graffiti and backwards swastikas… so it’s really just vandalism.
Pretty awesome Sara!
The best street art i have seen was in San Francisco
