A couple of weeks ago I was invited to attend the launch of a new La Roche-Posay product – The Effaclar BB Blur. We arrived at the venue and headed downstairs, where we found a winter wonderland waiting for us.
We had fun taking photos and chatting to the other bloggers we know, as you do at these events. I loved the balloons, transparent with blue confetti inside – I still have mine at home.
The reason we were there was for the launch and preview of a new addition to the Effaclar product family. This is a range from La Roche-Posay that’s been designed especially blemish-prone skin. for So what’s with the Effaclar BB Blur cream? It’s a BB cream, as we all know but made specifically foil oily skin. It has both the benefits of a usual BB cream, such as great coverage but with a formula that doesn’t aggravate the issues one would want to cover up, such as redness, acne scarring, enlarged pores or an uneven skin tone. This is a product that is adequate for sensitive skin and it’s been developed by dermatologists.
The technology: Airlicium, for the mattifying effect, Perlite for oil and humidity absorption, and BB Pigments for a natural looking coverage. The Effaclar BB Blur comes in 3 different skin tones and the results are great – it must be one of the best BB creams I have tried as I do have an oily skin and it makes it look a lot more matte than some of the other products I have used before.
Thank you Dowal Walker PR for the invite, and La Roche-Posay for the lovely event!
